Indiana University Northwest hosts COVID-19 testing and vaccine clinics on Oct. 22 and 23

Drive-thru clinics are free and open to the public

Indiana University Northwest, in collaboration with the Indiana State Department of Health and the National Guard, will host a series of drive-thru COVID-19 testing and vaccine clinics on its campus on the following dates:

  • Friday, October 22
  • Saturday, October 23

The clinics will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Parking Lot 2 at 3400 S. Broadway in Gary. The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine and booster shots, as well as swab testing for the virus, will be available. Proof of age and residency will be required.

The clinics are free and open to the public, but appointments are highly recommended. To schedule an appointment, register online at ourshot.in.gov and select the IU Northwest vaccine site or call 211.

Hoosiers age 12 and older are eligible to receive the vaccine. To learn more about eligibility, visit coronavirus.in.gov/vaccine/
