IU Northwest hosts COVID-19 testing, vaccine, and booster clinic on Nov. 12 and 13 for ages 5 and up

Drive-thru clinics are free and open to the public

Indiana University Northwest, in collaboration with the Indiana State Department of Health and the National Guard, will host a drive-thru COVID-19 testing and vaccine clinic on its campus on Friday, Nov. 12 and Saturday, Nov. 13.

The clinic will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Parking Lot 2 at 3400 S. Broadway in Gary. The following services will be available:

  • Single dose Johnson & Johnson Janssen vaccine
  • Second dose of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for those age 12 and up who received their first dose at the Oct. 22 and 23 clinic
  • First dose of Pfizer-BioNTech pediatric vaccine for those age five to 11
  • Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson Janssen boosters
  • COVID-19 swab testing

Proof of age and residency are required.

The clinics are free and open to the public, but appointments are highly recommended. To schedule an appointment, register online at ourshot.in.gov and select the IU Northwest vaccine site or call 211.
