Participants to experience a range of dance styles from jazz, modern, ballet and Afro-Cuban on Oct. 20 and 21
The Indiana University Northwest School of the Arts is thrilled to partner with Northwest Indiana’s South Shore Dance Alliance for a unique weekend celebrating dance.
The two-day workshop will take place in IU Northwest’s state-of-the-art Black Box performance studio, located in the Arts & Sciences building. Participants will experience a range of dance styles from jazz, modern, ballet and Afro-Cuban.
This diverse class line-up features instructors with ties to prestigious dance companies, including The Juilliard School, Ballet Chicago and Deeply Rooted Dance Theater in Chicago.
The cost to participate is $30 and includes refreshments, lunch and a t-shirt. Participants must be 15 years of age or older.
