Student Advising

Supporting the work of academic advisors throughout IUN's campus.

The Student Advising center supports undergraduate students by providing comprehensive advising services, coaching, and success workshops. Our professional academic advisors have an invested interest in assisting our students to navigate their academic career. We work collaboratively with departments to enhance the quality of academic advising by offering clarification of degree requirements, registration and academic program assistance. We encourage the use of university resources and services offered at Indiana University Northwest.

Find My Advisor

Every student is assigned an advisor to help them reach their educational goals. Meet with your advisor at least once a semester to help you stay on track for graduation.

Probation and RISE

These workshops are for students facing academic difficulty or seeking readmission back into the university.  They are designed to help you learn strategies and techniques to improve your academic performance.

How to Stay on Track

Need more information on how to be successful? Find out how to register for classes, schedule an appointment, change/declare a major or minor, check your grades, connect with resources, or removing an advising hold.

The goal of the SAC staff is to work collaboratively with each departmental academic advising unit to enhance the quality of advising for students at Indiana University Northwest.
