We highly recommend applying using our secure online application, which is free via ApplyIU and $15 if students use the Common Application. Application fee waivers (not necessary with Apply IU) are only available for current high school seniors who are 21st Century Scholars, have received an SAT/ACT waiver or are on free and reduced lunch. Documentation for the fee waiver must be provided before the application is processed.
The deadline to be eligible for freshman admissions scholarships is December 1.

Test scores are optional but not required (unless you are a homeschooled student). Starting in 2021, we allowed undergraduate applicants to choose whether they want to have their test scores considered as part of the application.

They offer services such as assistance of faculty, classroom modifications, alternative testing arrangements, informal counseling, note takers, tutors, readers, and computer assistance.

We offer campus tours led by current IU Northwest students so that you can gain insight from their perspective on our university and find out why IU Northwest was the right choice for them.
