The Indiana Partners Tuition Rate lowers out-of-state tuition by nearly 50% for students in seven nearby states: Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
Instead of paying the out-of-state tuition rate, Indiana Partners pay 1.5 times the in-state rate—a savings of more than $40,000 over the course of four years.
Here’s How it Works
The Indiana Partners Tuition is a discounted out-of-state tuition rate offered to students who reside in the states of Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Through the Indiana Partners Tuition, Indiana University Northwest agrees to charge students no more than 150% of the in-state resident tuition rate for specific programs.
Indiana Partners Tuition rate is available for undergraduate and graduate on-campus degree programs within the College of Arts & Sciences, School of Education, School of Business, and the College of Health and Human Services. One hundred percent online programs are excluded.
Yes. Participation is available to both full-time and part-time degree seeking students.
You don’t have to apply for this program. Students that have legal residents in the participating states will be charged the Indiana Partner rate after registering for classes.
The Indiana Partners Tuition will expire after four years of undergraduate study or upon earning an undergraduate degree; whichever occurs first. Students must be degree seeking and participating in a program which is not 100% online. In addition, the student must be a permanent U.S. Citizen to qualify. Indiana Partners Tuition rate benefits will be applied to tuition only. The Indiana Partners Tuition Rate and financial aid awards can both be applied. When combined, the award cannot exceed the total cost of attendance. Indiana Partners are responsible for all other fees assessed upon enrollment and associated with attendance. The Indiana Partners Tuition Rate will continue to be charged as long as the student remains a non-resident and eligible to enroll in their chosen degree program.
