Online Courses

The Center for Urban and Regional Excellence is pleased to offer a variety of online learning opportunities through its Adult Education program. For more information on our online course options and/or to register, use the links below.

Fundamental Courses

Fundamental courses include both self-paced tutorials and asynchronous, instructor-led courses (no set class/meeting time). Popular offerings include Speed Spanish, Accounting Fundamentals, Introduction to Microsoft Excel, and A to Z Grant Writing.

Career Training Programs

Enroll at any time in a Career Training Program and then learn at your own pace the skills necessary to acquire a professional level position in your chosen field. Popular programs include HVAC/R Certified Technician, Residential Electrician, and Freight Broker/Agent Training.

Comprehensive Career Tracks

All Career Tracks are offered in a self-paced format with open enrollment. Popular programs include Pharmacy Technician, Clinical Medical Assistant, Paralegal Professional, and Computer Support Specialist.

Note: The Center for Urban and Regional Excellence offers the Fundamental Courses, Career Training Programs, and Comprehensive Career Tracks through its online education partners. Course content is created by our partner instructors. You will not earn academic credit for the courses. It is the responsibility of the student to determine if a course/program meets the requirements for career preparation and/or licensing/certification. If you have questions regarding career requirements, you must consult with your employer, future employer, and/or appropriate licensing/certification agencies.
